Recently, IEESC built up two new sets of Sun compute grid systems in the computer lab, which were donated from the Petroleum Technology Research Centre (PTRC). These systems will facilitate the regional climate modelling (RCM) calculation with Weather Research & Forecasting (WRF) and Providing Regional Climates for Impacts Studies (PRECIS) software.
